Summary

Prehistoric flints and fragments of pottery dating from the Iron Age to the post medieval periods have been found by fieldwalking. Roman coins, brooches, and hair pins, an Early Saxon brooch, a Middle Saxon pin and other metalwork has been found by metal detecting.
