Full Description
June 1987. Found with metal detector. Field west of The Grange. [1]
Late Saxon openwork bronze stirrup strap mount with two confronted beasts. See Monograph (S1).
Medieval bronze annular brooch, pin part broken, with pin rest diamond sectioned.
Short cross penny Henry III, North class 7, see (S2), dating to between 1223 and 1242, moneyer IOAN CHIC ON CAN (Canterbury).
Post medieval bronze spur rowel and belt mount.
Silver plated threepence, Elizabeth I, date obscured, contemporary forgery? See (S3).
Finder donated some of the items, and retains coins and brooch. [2]
