Summary

This two storeyed house was originally of the three-cell lobby entrance type. It dates to 1590 and features ornate beams in the parlour. It was extended to the west in the 18th century and heightened/extended to the east in the mid 19th century.

Formerly Claud Cottage/Clemetis Cottage/Meadowside, High Street. This two storeyed house was originally of the three-cell lobby entrance type. It dates to 1590 and features ornate beams in the parlour. The upper floor is half-cruck. It was extended to the west probably in the 18th century and heightened/extended to the east in the mid 19th century.
