Full Description
Summer 1987. Surface find on ploughed field.
Almost complete, partly-polished flint axehead. Pale grey flint with some white patina. 120mm long, 40mm wide, with rounded butt. Polished cutting edge, now almost completely removed by edge damage, body polished on high points, and edges well polished.
