Full Description
August 1986. Metal-detecting. [1].
Copper alloy strap-end 9th century (S1). Middle Saxon/Late Saxon (drawn and photo NCM). A similar strap-end was accessioned by Moyses Hall Museum (Accession No.: 1982.337B.2) (S2).
Silver double patard - Charles the Bold (1467-1477) Duke of Burgundy.
Post medieval copper alloy casket key.
Copper alloy tanged part of shoe buckle, 18th century.
Identified by L. Webster (BM(MLA)) and M. Archibald (BM(CM)) and S. Margeson (NCM).

Roman Colchester brooches.
3 medieval coins, a spindle whorl, strap fitting and a mount in the form of an acorn.
Medieval/post-medieval dress hooks and a silver octofoil mount.
Post-medieval circular trade weight and spoon fragment.

The medieval silver octofoil mount was submitted as possible Treasure (2015 T155) but subsequently disclaimed and returned to the finder.
