Summary
Metal detecting at this location in 1987 recovered a copper alloy gilded disc with a displayed eagle and a copper alloy belt stiffener. Both objects were dated to the medieval period.

August 1987. Found with metal detector. Field northwest of church ruins.
Medieval copper alloy gilded disc with displayed eagle, enamelled? 15th century.
Medieval copper alloy belt stiffener.
