Summary

Fieldwalking during 1987 recovered a Roman coin, a coin of King Alfred (887-99), a medieval buckle and strap end. Sherds of medieval and post medieval pottery were also retrieved.

Green glazed Grimston and other medieval sherds.
Late medieval transistional sherd with lead mend.
Bronze strap end with rocker arm ornamemt medieval. (S1) at NCM.
Bronze buckle with openwork plate about 1250 to 1400. (S1) at NCM.
Halfpenny of Alfred, see (S2), Alfred 887 to 899, moneyer Birnuald ? (S1) at NCM.
German post medieval stoneware and recent slipware.
