Summary

Fieldwalking here in 1987 recorded the presence of several prehistoric pot boiler scatters along with several prehistoric flint implements.

13 October 1987. Fenland fieldwalking. Cultivated, weathered soil, some regeneration.
Context 1: general scatter odd flints, no obvious concentrations. Site SHD AT.
Context 2 (at 6953 0999): concentration pot boilers sparse locally moderate on south side of peaty hollow. Maximum diameter 36m north-south x 28m east-west at 4.2m OD. Site SHD 11.
Context 3 (at 6952 1006): concentration pot boilers sparse, north side peaty hollow, maximum dimensions 25m north-south x 29m east-west at 4.2m OD. Site SHD 12.
