Farmhouse

September 1987. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
“House, C17. Coursed flint, rendered to front, pantiles. 2 cell cross passage having chimney bay at either end. Lower single storey extension to right. Internal end stacks, that to left rebuilt after fire, high gable parapets, roof once thatched.”
Information from (S1).
Please consult the National Heritage List for England (S1) for the current listing details.
E. Rose (NAU) 20 October 1987. Amended by P. Beers (HES), 18 July 2022.

Information from (S1). The description sounds like a typical end stack house except for the 'cross passage' which in Listed building descriptions usually means a screens passage. It would be unique to find a screens passage with end stacks. Perhaps a later internal rearrangement?
