Summary

A concentration of prehistoric pot boilers, prehistoric flints and a prehistoric flint arrowhead found during fieldwalking.

21 October 1987. Fenland fieldwalking, good well weathered ploughsoil.
Context 1 general scatter odd flints from upland part of field, includes one broken transverse arrowhead. MDT AT.
Context 2 at 6523 1482 concentration of pot boilers moderate but comminuted and single flint (bagged with context 1) on gentle slope of stoney loam set back from edge of fen. 22m east to west x less than 13m north to south at 4.9m OD MDT 13.
