Summary

In 1987, fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered medieval pottery, prehistoric worked flints and a post-medieval gunflint. Metal-detecting in 2013/2014 recovered a Roman coin and a medieval lead weight.

Full Description

23 October 1987. Fenland fieldwalking. Land north of Sandy Lane.
Young cereal, weathered ploughsoil.

HLG AV.
Odd fragments medieval pottery, odd flints, no concentrations.

One flint core is Brandonian! (gun flint).
