Full Description
12 November 1987. Fenland fieldwalking, weathered ploughsoil.
Context 1: general scatter odd flints. Site SRY AB. And two Roman sherds. Flint is gunflint- F. Healy (NAU).
Context 2: at 6070 9564 concentration of sparse pot boilers and a couple of flints on peat covered loam slope. Minimum 34m northwest-southwest by less than 15m northeast-southwest at 0.9m OD. Site SRY 1. These are gunflints - F. Healy (NAU).
Context 3: at 6080 9570 concentration of pot boilers sparse and one flint (kept with context 1 finds) maximum 45m east-west x 22m north-south at 1.6m OD. Site SRY 2.
