Summary

A Neolithic flaked grey flint adze was found on the surface of a field in 1987, a very fine example of this not very common tool. In use it would have been attached to a wooden handle or haft.

Found by [1] on surface of field south of Manor House:
1 Neolithic flaked adze of grey flint in fresh condition. 15cm long, with cutting edge produced by transverse flake and delicate retouch. See drawing (S1).
