Summary

In 1987 six prehistoric flint flakes were recovered from this area. In 1994 additional flints were recovered, along with a small assemblage of Middle Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds.

Middle Saxon Ipswich Ware sherd. Post medieval sherds: Frechen stoneware, lead glazed earthenware slipware (Dutch or English). Delft. Staffordshire combed ware.
