Summary

In 1987 a number of pottery sherds from the Iron Age, Roman and medieval periods were recovered from the surface of this area (including NHER 24201), as well as a burnt slatey fragment and a tiny prehistoric struck flint flake.

Fourteen coarseware sherds including Roman rims, rest could be Iron Age (or post Roman?). Plus one handle sherd, yellow glaze, medieval?
Fragment gritty sandstone, squared.
Burnt slatey fragment.
Tiny struck flint flake.
NOTE: finds from this site not kept separate from site NHER 24201 - no record of which came from which.
