Summary

In 1987, fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a few pieces of prehistoric worked flint and two concentrations of prehistoric burnt flint. Metal-detecting between 2015 and 2022 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton; a post-medieval token and a medieval/post-medieval weight.

Context 1 general scatter. MRM AX.
Odd flints.

Context 2 at 7123 1071. MRM 33.
29m northeast to southwest x 16m northwest to southeast at 4.9m OD. Small pot boiler site, sparse to moderate on side of ridge. One flint scraper (included with finds from context 1).

Context 3 at 7115 1071 continuation of 24189 east of dyke. MRM 27(E).
Abundant pot boilers. Whole site (both numbers) is now 54m northwest to southeast x 40m northeast to southwest.
