Full Description
September to November 1987. Found in fieldwalking.
Flint core, twelve flakes, four retouched flakes, blade and nine flakes.

January 1988. Area extended to south.
Seven flakes and one core, Neolithic (identified by J. Wymer (NAU)).
Early post medieval bronze buckle.
Late post medieval lead horse fragment.
Two lead-glazed earthenware sherds.

October/ November 1999. Metal detecting. Context 2 - at location [2] which includes NHER 24338. Finder's Field 18. [3].
Medieval composite strap-end. For most of its length is comprises two long tapering sheets of copper alloy, broken at the open end at the single rivet hole. The terminal has cut-outs, and at the end a third sheet decorated to resemble a shell. The three sheets are held together with a copper alloy rivet. 14th century.
