Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a scatter of prehistoric burnt and worked flints including a Beaker period flint scraper. A sparse spread of prehistoric burnt flints and a prehistoric flint flake were also identified.

Context 1. HLG BE.
General scatter odd flints, pot boilers extending across track to north.
Includes a Beaker period scraper identified by F. Healy (NAU).

Context 2 at 6246 9651. HLG 8.
Sparse spread of pot boilers and single flint flake included with context 1 finds. Sandy loam soil. 47m east to west x 42m
north to south at 4.9m OD.
