Full Description
21 December 1987. Fenland fieldwalking. Field west of Ash Hill Wood.
Young cereal, weathered soil.
Context 1. HLG BE.
General scatter odd flints, pot boilers extending across track to north.
Includes a Beaker period scraper identified by F. Healy (NAU).
Context 2 at 6246 9651. HLG 8.
Sparse spread of pot boilers and single flint flake included with context 1 finds. Sandy loam soil. 47m east to west x 42m
north to south at 4.9m OD.
