Summary

Elm Tree Farmhouse is a remarkably ornate two storey building dating to the late 16th century, and altered and given a remade façade in the late 18th century. The Farmhouse also has a timber framed barn, which probably dates to the 18th or 19th century.

June 1981. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description:
17/18th century timber-frame house. Plastered, with roughcast front. Steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends. External brick chimney stack at each end. Two storeys. Three windows. Modern 3-light casements. Central modern gabled porch. Later lean-to at rear.

Barn
June 1981. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description:
17th century timber-frame barn. Weatherboarded and rendered. Steep gable-ended roof clad in corrugated iron. Central entrance bay with large double doors. Later farm building abutting on north-west and south.

Remarkably ornate two cell two storey and attic late 16th century building, altered and facade remade late 18th century. Under restoration. Barn, timber framed, probably 18th/19th century.
