Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a few pieces of prehistoric worked flint and some human bone. A sparse spread of prehistoric worked and burnt flint and some animal teeth were also recorded.

11 February 1988. Fenland fieldwalking, good conditions, winter cereal.
Context 1 general scatter. MRM BA.
Odd flints and some bone (skull?).
No concentration except context 2.

Context 2 at 6979 1082. MRM 34.
Sparse spread of worked flint and pot boilers, former mainly in northern half of general spread. Also one set of
Bos? teeth. About 42meast to west x 40m north to south maximum at 3.05m OD. On gentle sloping mineral soil ledge close to peat.
