Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a few pieces of medieval pottery and one prehistoric worked flint. Metal-detecting between 2000 and 2022 recovered a medieval pottery sherd; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton; a post-medieval token and a number of other, Early Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an Early Saxon brooch; a Middle Saxon pin; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval cruciform harness mount and thimble and a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy ring and lead weights.

Post medieval copper alloy hooked tag, oval with straight edge below bust, hollow-cast with male classical head in relief, facing right, long hook twisted round to same plane as plate. No visible means of attachment. 13 x 28 mm.
