Summary

Fenland fieldwalking in 1988 recorded a scatter of prehistoric flints and pot boilers at this location. In addition to these prehistoric artefacts, a number of medieval pottery sherds were recovered from the same area. Metal-detecting in 2007 recovered a single medieval coin.

Context 1: general scatter odd flints and medieval sherds. Site SRY AT.
Context 2: at 6263 9520 concentration of pot boilers, moderate to abundant, beside gently sloping hollow which lies to southeast. 42m north-south x 41m east-west at 6.1m OD. Site SRY 12.
