Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 1988 and 2024 recovered Roman and medieval coins as well as a range of other, Early Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an Early Bronze Age flanged axehead; an Early Saxon wrist clasp; a Late Saxon disc brooch; a medieval brooch, bronze dagger pommel, dagger guard, casket or fitting mount, coin weight, mount, purse frame, harness fitting, a swivel from a horse harness, sword strap or a purse and a pendant loop from a purse bar pendant frame and a post-medieval pipe tamper.
