Summary

Investigation of this area from 1988 has recovered various objects. Finds included Neolithic flint flakes, a Middle or Late Saxon disc brooch, a medieval Papal bull of Benedict XII and a post medieval token. In addition, sherds of Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery have been collected from this location.

January 1988. Fieldwalking. Field southeast of signpost (OS 500). At location [1].
Four flint flakes of Neolithic type.
Medieval body sherd.
