Summary

Fenland fieldwalking in 1988 recorded several prehistoric worked flints and a medieval pottery sherd at this location. Subsequent analysis of the flints showed that most were of Early Neolithic date, but that one was an Early Bronze Age scraper.

3 March 1988. Fenland fieldwalking, good conditions, weathered ploughsoil. Field north and east of Campsey Farm.
Odd flints scattered over field, no concentrations though one small compact spread of about six worked flints at 6268 9588. One medieval sherd. Site SRY AU.
Finds held by NCM.
