Summary

This rare World War Two type 28a anti tank gun emplacement was built in 1940 or 1941. It faces southeast to guard the approach to the nearby bridge.

Gun emplacement, rectangular with chamfered corners, wide embrasure to southeast, door opposite. A remarkably unusual location for a type normally found facing out to sea.
