Summary

Metal detecting in this area during 1987-88 recovered a medieval seal. It was inscribed with the word 'S'SECRETI' and featured a beast with a rabbit's head, bird's feet and the body of winged snake.

Medieval bronze circular stamp seal, inscribed S'SECRETI. Beast with rabbit's head, bird's feet and body of winged snake, inside eight pointed star formed of two diagonally interlocking squares.
