Summary

The brick-built house that originally stood here dated to around 1660. It had elaborate brick and flint decoration and had carved beams internally. However, in around 1988 the house was demolished and rebuilt in replica with old materials. It has been recorded because it stands in a conservation area.

Small one room and chimneystack, two storey house (but may perhaps have been shortened). Elaborate brick and flint decoration and said to have carved beams. Supposed to date to about 1660, but may well be earlier.

According to West Norfolk Council, the building was demolished and rebuilt in replica with old materials, probably about the time the above record was made.
