1954. Human skeleton found in gravel (sand) pit. Mousehall Farm at approximately 90cm (3 feet)depth. Bones lying east to west, skull at east end face down. No other bones found. Seen by R. R. Clarke (NCM); not preserved. Pit dug for sand for the last thirty years; no other bones found. Report to superintendant Billing by P. C. Thomas Fulcher in file.
