Map

Aerial photograph (S1), taken in 1947, shows here a group of small fields on irregular layout probably including three to four small plots which might carry hut sites linking with looser ditch layout to south and east including ?lazybeds or very narrow strips (no evidence for date)
note by R. R. Clarke (NCM), 8 March 1958.

17 February 1977. Visit. In ploughed field some black marks especially on north of Sandpit Spinney, where the ?pit shown on 6 inch Ordnance Survey map appears as one (thus indicating marks are infill?) and to the north of this is another black mark forming a right angle.
