Pre 1884. Stray Find.
From Hilgay Fen.
1 Bronze Age copper alloy palstave.

Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 27 February 2018.
There is a note on (S1) stating that it was made when the object was offered to Saffron Walden Museum in 1884, but was refused. It is probably the same axe as NHER 17493 but there are substantial differences in the drawings.
