Summary

In 1972 a gold finger ring was found in the garden of this property. It was set with a stone and inscribed on both sides. This ring was felt to be of medieval date.

Summer 1972. Found in garden, 76 Feltwell Road.
Gold finger ring set with a stone probably a form of quartz: inscribed on each side:
1) + DA ME. MERCI POR DEVVS PRI DE.MEI
2) +OC EST PRESENTA VVS MERENT.
The loop is triangular insection, slightly damaged.
Reported to H. M. Coroner for Lynn - no inquest.
