Summary

There is a flint weapon in the Beloe collection at NCM. The exact location and nature of this discovery are unclear, it was found in or before 1898. It is possible that this object was one of a number Beloe found near Wretton.

This object could be one of the "fine examples of stone celts and spear heads" noted by Beloe in (S1) that were found in the vicinity of Wretton. See NHER 2521 for further details.
