Full Description
Holy Cross Church.
The remains were before the last war still extant as part of a farm building, but now all that remains on the site are
mounds of earth and an amorphous fragment of flint wall.
Visited E. Rose (NAU), 9 December 1975.
Incredibly, although this site was suggested for scheduling by R. R. Clarke (NCM) when still a building, it was not scheduled until 1979 long after demolition!
E. Rose (NAU).
(S2) describes church as having a nave, ruined west tower, and foundations only of the chancel.
E. Rose.

Mounds of below ground foundations covered by thick grass, which will preserve the site. Some invasive scrub, this will be cut back when necessary.
