Summary

Fragments of medieval pottery were found by the side of an old road in 1968. Metal-detecting between 2015 and 2019 recovered Neolithic and Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flints; Iron Age/Roman, medieval and medieval/post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval tokens; medieval and post-medieval jettons and a range of other, Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman votive model, military harness fitting and copper alloy furniture upholstery stud or nail; Early Saxon brooches; Middle/Late Saxon hooked tags; a Late Saxon strap end and stirrup-strap mount; a Late Saxon/medieval strap-end; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness mount, horse-harness pendant, padlock and copper alloy chafing dish fragment; medieval/post-medieval purse frame fragments, a coin weight and copper alloy unidentified object and post-medieval rowel spur fragments.

8 medieval coins, 2 tokens, 27 pottery sherds, 3 buckles, a probable strap mount, harness mount, small padlock and copper alloy chafing dish fragment.
1 medieval/post-medieval pottery sherd and a coin weight.
3 post-medieval coins, 1 jetton, 1 pottery sherd, a buckle, finger ring, 2 rowel spur fragments and a hooked sword-belt fitting.

Medieval/post-medieval dress hook, purse fragment and unidentified copper alloy object comprising two arms and a central loop.
