Full Description
A notice board on the farm giving the history states that the UEA survey identified one building as a 'former house of 15th century date' in addition to the above; but in fact there is no mention of this in (S1).
E. Rose (NLA) 5 October 1998.
House listed grade II* in 1999.
The farmhouse is dated as late 17th century with mid 18th century east wing; however the whole is described as an important group of 18th to 19th century farm buildings. There is no mention of a 15th century house as mentioned above.
The present farmhouse is stated to be lobby entrance with 18th and 19th century windows, 17th to 19th century internal doors, stopped beams and roof collars.
E. Rose, (NLA) 9 December 1999.
See also NHER 55665 and NHER 55666 for details of associated farm buildings.
A. Cattermole (HES), 10 June 2011.
