Map

Cropmarks on 1946 RAF aerial photographs were first noted by R. R. Clarke (NCM).
These may represent old field boundaries, or are perhaps natural.
E. Rose (NAU).

Grid reference corrected from original TG 079 183.
M. Horlock (NLA), 25 March 2003.

December 2007. Norfolk NMP.
The cropmarks referred to above and visible on other aerial photographs (S1-S3) would appear to relate to field boundaries marked on the 1841 Sparham Tithe map (S4) or are closely related to such depicted features. It was therefore decided not to map any of the cropmarks given their late date and archaeological significance.
S. Massey (NMP), 05 December 2007.
