October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
World War Two spigot mortar emplacement visible on RAF aerial photographs from 1950 (S1). A 2m diameter structure is located at TG 0722 4294. This is surrounded by a 1m wide circular ditch, which has three perpendicular ditches, 2m long, coming off it to the north, east and the south. This appears to be a spigot mortar emplacement, associated with the radar station (NHER 23386).
S. Massey (NMP), 17 April 2003.
