Map

Ruins of defensive structure. Roof intact, suggests rectangular rather than polygonal building, otherwise simply a pile of concrete and iron. Almost certainly a defensive position commanding western approach to hill rather than remains from elsewhere dumped here. In hedgerow beside public footpath overlooking cornfield.
E. Rose (NLA), 1 July 1996.

See record form in file by source [1], who adds:

October 2002. Norfolk NMP.
World War Two pillbox visible on RAF aerial photographs from 1946 (S1). The structure was hard to distinguish, as it appeared to be located within the hedgerow and was only visible as a structure within a break in the hedge. The square structure is located at TG 0700 4386 and measures approximately 2.5m across.
S. Massey (NMP), 7 May 2003.
