Summary
Iron slag was ploughed up in 1956, and a further large lump of it was ploughed up in the same place in 1972. This may suggest that metal working was carried out in the area at some time.

Full Description
1956. 305m (1000 feet) southsoutheast of Tipple's Farm. Iron slag ploughed up.
January 1972. Iron slag/bloom; a lump 0.9m (3 feet) across, ploughed up on site of earlier find.
