Full Description
June 1977. Visit.
Site of brickworks marked as disused on (S1). No trace at all on ground, though local farmers still refer to it as the Brick Hills.
E. Rose (NAU), 2 June 1977.
The brickworks are recorded as 'disused' on (S2), which shows the kiln and associated buildings, as well as the quarry pits. These are still visible on aerial photographs as earthworks in 1948 and as soilmarks in 1967.
A. Miller (SCC NMP), 7 July 2000.
