Full Description
Bawsey tiles from Blackborough Priory are built into houses in North Runcton and King's Lynn.
Information from KLM suggests that some tiles were found in a cottage at North Runcton by D. Gurney around 1850, and when this cottage was converted in 1961 they were retained in the chimney piece, with some samples deposited in KLM in 1963. Other tiles are at St Margaret's Vicarage, King's Lynn.
E. Rose (NAU/NLA).
