1962. In laying trench for bungalows at depth of around 1ft (30cm).
13th century pottery sherds.

GRID REF CORRECTED from KLM 6 inch map which however gives details as late medieval pot, found 18 inches (45cm) deep in foundation trench 100ft (30m) from road in May 1962.
