Summary

In 1969 a number of medieval pottery sherds were recovered from the surface of this area, while metal-detecting in 2015 recovered a medieval coin as well as Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Saxon bit link, harness link or cheek piece; a medieval lead pot mend and post-medieval buckles and a crotal bell.
