Summary

Fragments of medieval pottery were found on the surface in 1969. A pond is thought to be part of the medieval moated site of Easthall Manor, though no other sides of the moat remain. A fairly extensive scatter of large flint nodules and a little tile probably mark the site of the building. Metal detecting in 1995 recovered a range of objects, including Roman and Late Saxon finger rings, Late Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery fragments, medieval coins and a jetton and post medieval coins.
