Summary

A medieval moated site, and fishpond, which was excavated in the late 1950s, when the foundation of medieval buildings, medieval masonry, pottery, coins and other medieval finds were found. The moat itself was circular, with an outer enclosure. The site has since been ploughed out, and is now only visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs.
