April-July 1999. Excavation and Watching Brief.
Fieldwork on route of Brisley to Bushy Common Pipeline (Plot 7).
A scatter of Late Neolithic or Bronze Age flint, possibly indicating occupation activity, was recovered during the archaeological watching brief along the Transco Brisley to Bushy Common pipeline, and is recorded as Site No. 7. It is located in the field to the north-east of Home Farm, Beetly, in a field that had been unavailable for fieldwalking during the pre-construction survey.
The geophysical anomoly at the southern end of the field (described above) were found to corresponded with an area of probable alluvial deposition and a probable post-medieval boundary (NHER 34116)
