Summary

An early 19th century three storey brown brick house with a slate roof. It became a Vicarage in 1912. The street façade is three window bays wide, without a doorway, and the centre bays are blind on each floor. The rear of the house is the ground floor of a 16th century building with an archway and the remains of another ruined building are also attached. The house was built on the site of a 17th century building where the Burney family lived from 1753 to 1760. The grounds have an ornate late 18th century garden wall and iron gates.
