Found during excavations for railway:
Neolithic polished flint axehead.
Originally in the possession of B. Taylor of Swaffham and now part of the Norwich Castle Museum Fitch Collection (NWHCM : 1894.76.810).
This implement is amongst those noted by Evans in (S1) and (S2) and is probably the flint axehead "found near Narborough" depicted in one of the Rev. J. Bulwer drawings held by the NCM (S3).
