Summary

Fragments of Roman pottery were found at this location in 1955. Metal-detecting between 2023 and 2024 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and a range of other metal objects, including a Roman silver finger ring; a medieval buckle, lace chape, probable folding strap clasp fragment, harness pendant and sewing ring or tailor's thimble; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment and a post-medieval crotal bell.
